TRAUMA:
     Event(s) beyond normal sociocultural experience…
  • Incidental:  natural disasters, accidental events
  • Interactional:  abuse, addictions, or relationship stress
  • Intentional:  the range of criminal behavior
  • Institutional:   fraternal, religious, medical, or governmental

…resulting in beliefs that impact one’s view of self and reality
